Stith Keiser, Partner & Guide
When asked “why outfitting?”
Stith responded “I’m driven to the Wyoming wilderness each fall to experience the thrill and fulfillment that comes from watching a guest experience autumn in the Rocky Mountains, listen to the bugle of big bull elk and in the satisfaction that comes with doing everything I can to put them in a spot for a successful and ethical harvest.” I began my guiding career in Wyoming nearly two decades ago and as an owner of Mountain Ivory Adventures, I’m excited to lend my experience and passion for outfitting and guiding to new and seasoned guests alike. I am also honored to share that same drive with our guides and staff who work to bring a memorable traditional, backcountry camp experience to our friends and clients who share in this adventure with us.
Nick Biermaier, Partner & Guide
Over the past 10 years, my focus has changed, from being the hunter to supporting the hunter. I have been hunting my entire life, guiding for the last handful of years, and now showing my kids what the outdoors has to offer. I am incredibly blessed at home with a beautiful wife and three healthy young boys. My wife is an avid hunter as well, so this entire business aligns with our family’s morals, ethics, and our faith background. I am looking forward to the adventure and I cannot thank God enough for the opportunity to outfit and guide in the Gros Ventres.

Chuck Keiser, DVM Partner & Wrangler
I became a partner in Mountain Ivory Adventures for several reasons. It combines my love of family, horses, outdoors, and friends. The pleasure is indescribable that I get from taking people into the wilderness and showing them sights and giving them opportunities that few people ever get. Having a friend and client harvest an elk makes it an over the top experience! As I celebrate my 50th birthday for the 19th time, life doesn't get much better than this!
RJ Kerwin, Camp Chef
Guides can’t control the weather or the animals, but we can control the cooking! Meet RJ, our seasoned Mountain Ivory camp cook responsible for providing hot, hearty and home-cooked meals to our guests. In his own words, RJ is drawn to camp each fall to “share many experiences starting with the ride in to the elk bugling as you set out to camp. If you want to enjoy the Wyoming landscape with great people and good food, you will not be disappointed.
Klay Mangis
Klay owned Circle S Outfitters for nearly 40 years and though the time has come for him to pass the torch of ownership, he remains a full-time guide with decades of experience guiding hunters and harvesting elk. Many of our clients have hunted with Klay, and his former business partner, Tony, for years and he will continue to be a familiar face in camp.
Tony Saunders
Tony, like Klay, is a former partner in Circle S Outfitters and is excited to continue to guide and help ensure the same high-standards and exclusive experience to which our long-standing guests have grown accustomed.
