A Typical Day in Camp
Experience the thrill of big game hunting with the comfort and camaraderie of Mountain Ivory Adventures. Your hunting day starts with a choice of cowboy coffee, hot chocolate, or tea and a quick breakfast to fuel your adventure. Your experienced mountain horse will be saddled and ready to take you up the mountain well before daylight. Our seasoned guides, some boasting over 40 years of experience guiding from this camp, will lead you along the "unknown" trails and position you strategically at dawn for the best chance of success.
After a rewarding morning in the saddle, we return to camp for a freshly cooked, hearty lunch. The afternoon is yours to recharge and rest, enjoy fishing in the nearby streams, or relax and share stories with fellow hunters. Depending on the day, hunter desire and game movement, we may hunt in the late afternoon as well. As the sun sets, gather for a delicious home-cooked meal where tales of the day's hunt are shared. Retire to your wall tent, warmed by custom wood stoves, for a restful night’s sleep.
On your departure day, we ensure a smooth transition, whether taking you to the airport or helping you load your gear. Our goal is to provide an unforgettable and successful hunting experience from start to finish.
Camp Accommodations
Welcome to our Mountain Ivory Adventure’s, where we offer a premium outdoor experience with all the comforts you need. Our camp features new wall tents, each outfitted with cots, mattresses, and custom wood stoves to keep you warm. You'll find a fully furnished cook tent complete with a comfortable dining table and camp chairs for your meals.
The camp is powered by a generator, ensuring that you have lights in your tents each evening and morning. Our clean, enclosed latrine provides necessary facilities, and our dedicated staff maintains a high standard of cleanliness, with the camp being raked daily and tents swept regularly. Each hunter tent, designed for two hunters to ensure ample space, comes stocked with firewood and kindling. We also have a custom water piping set up to bring mountain fresh, drinkable water right into camp. Enjoy your hunt in comfort and style at our well-equipped camp.
